Minister Swamy felicitates unopposed MPTCs, ZPTC in Kondapi, urges service first
Ahead of gram panchayat polls, the minister told Kondapi's uncontested local body winners to focus on village growth and work closely with officials.

Minister Dr Dola Sree Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy on Wednesday honoured the local body representatives from the Kondapi constituency who were elected without a contest, and asked them to put public service first and work for the growth of their villages.
The newly elected MPTC members from the Ponnaluru, Marripudi and Kondapi mandals, along with the Marripudi ZPTC member, called on the minister at his camp office in Turpu Naidupalem. He wished them well and presented them with shawls.
Dr Swamy described the unanimous mandate as a good sign, saying it showed the people's trust in them. He urged the representatives to work hand in hand with government officials and take up the everyday problems of villagers, from local civic needs to access to public services.
He also said that good work by the new members would reflect well on the coalition government. In politics, an uncontested win is often read as a sign of local consensus, but it also raises expectations: with no campaign scrutiny, the real test comes in delivery on the ground.
The minister then turned to the next electoral round, asking the representatives to work hard in the coming gram panchayat elections and help coalition candidates win. The message links the grassroots results already in hand with the contests still ahead, as parties look to build on early momentum at the village level.
For voters in these mandals, the takeaway is practical: the people they chose without a vote being cast now carry the job of showing results quickly, with the next ballot not far away.
