This is a catch-up, not a wire. Desh Flash picks the India stories that travelled past their own city: an election, a company number, a match people stopped work for, a row that showed up in more than one state.

Read it in one sitting. The pieces are short and the sentences are plain. We skip the warm-up line and the list of every official who was also in the meeting.

We are not reporting from the spot. We read what is already public and write a shorter account. If two versions of a fact are still fighting, both stay in until one of them drops out. Older stories keep their place. They are not cleared off to make the homepage look new.
